About Lawrence:

Lawrence “Larry” Barnard is the Region AVP for Pediatrics in the Desert Region, where he leads the development of an integrated pediatric care model across Southern Nevada and Southwest Utah. His work focuses on expanding services, improving access, and driving positive outcomes through collaboration across markets and teams.

Previously, Larry served as CEO of St. Francis Medical Center and held leadership roles with Dignity Health (CommonSpirit) in Las Vegas, including Nevada Market President and President of the San Martin Campus. He was also CEO of University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and held administrative roles at several hospitals in Nevada, California, and South Carolina.

A former U.S. Army Captain, Larry served from 2001–2006. He holds an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science – International Relations from West Point.
